Now the Roswell Museum is one of the few federal art centers left nationwide. The Roswell Museum is now home to 12 different galleries. The Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art has been a staple of the Roswell, NM area since 1994. The museum has 22,000 feet of exhibition space and it is made up of 12 galleries and over 500 pieces of work. The art on display is produced by the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program. This is a great place to see amazing works of contemporary art produced by artists from the local residence program with many works inspired by the area.
